I know it’s a segue into the other books, but I just find it obnoxious. Damen is no longer sick, but yet they still can’t be together, at least not completely. It just didn’t jive with me at all.Īnd I hate when books have endings that really aren’t endings, which is how this novel ended. Then, she starts to find a way to fix things and she becomes obsessed with going back in the past to change things and abandon her supposed true love.

Most people (me included) would have written him off once he started being a jerk. I didn’t like how Ever was taking so much crap from the “new Damen”, but was still aching to be with him and fix things. This isn’t the worst I’ve read, but wasn’t nearly as good as Evermore. This book read as a young adult book, which I have never cared for because I feel authors target younger and younger audiences and the books fail to pique my interest, let alone hold it.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Blue Moon. I was pleasantly surprised with the first book in this series, Evermore.

But when she goes back she discovers that you can’t go back and is eventually brought back to the present and is in a race against time to save Damen’s life. Roman has gotten rid of all clichés in the school and now Haven and Miles are hanging out with the A-listers…and everybody hates Ever, who has figured out that Roman is behind it all.Įver discovers how to get to Summerland on her own and finds out that she can travel through time on the night of the rare blue moon and decides to go back in time to prevent the accident that kills her entire family. He starts dating Stacia (again) and thinks Ever is stalking him. He tries to reach out to her and get her to like him, but there is just something about him that bugs her, but she can’t put her finger on it.ĭamen starts to lose his magic and starts projecting an aura and suddenly can’t stand Ever and calls her a spaz. Everyone loves him, everyone, but Ever that is. Then a new student arrives at school, Roman. They are basking in their trouble-free relationship while Damen is trying to teach her all she needs to know about being an immortal.

This book starts out with Ever and Damen picking up where they left off in Evermore. This is the second installment in the Immortals series by Alyson Noël.
